Faversham Footpaths Group
Join us for a three mile country stroll along peaceful footpaths and quiet country lanes towards the attractive grounds of Lorenden Park, the historic source of the Westbrook Stream. We'll cross a little footbridge which remains over what used to be a lake, but now takes us over a dry lake bed where spring water once gathered.
Lorenden is a true local gem, offering a tranquil mix of open parkland, winding paths, and woodlands, which support a variety of wildlife.
After a short break here, we'll wander back through Vicarage Lane and across open fields to Brogdale, where there will be an opportunity to take refreshments in their Courtyard Cafe.
There is no charge for this walk. Well behaved dogs are welcome and we request that they are kept under close control on a lead throughout the walk.
The walk is free - pre-booking is not required.
